At last, having seen Carlisle dominate possession in so many games this season, with no end result, just for the opposition to run up the field and score, the lads (2nd half) began to show that we can cause danger in the opposite penalty box and score goals.
I must admit at half-time I was beginning to experience the same feelings I had had at Walsall, Bristol City, Gillingham and at BP for much of the season. We pass the ball around have the majority of the possession but don't do anything effective with it. Then our opponents leg it up field and deftly find the back of our net. Last night's 2nd half performance saw us deservedly walk away with the points with some real pace up front and quality finishes from Liam and Sam. Yes, Coventry are no pushovers and gave us a couple of frights, but we held firm and defended doggedly and got the right result.
As to Coventry continuing to play in Northampton, please don't stay any longer for your own sanity. The Sixfields stadium lacks any atm
