Big night for Yaya Sanogo, the big question is why hasn't Arsene used him before and why throw him into a lions den of a game like this?

I thought he did ok against Liverpool. It's a massive gamble, but Giroud appears to have off field problems and only on the bench. Wenger seems to have stuck with Giroud, but tonight if he wasn't keen on playing him, why not go for Podolski?

Szczesny got a good hand to Kroos's effort from distance, it was heading for the top left hand corner.

Ozil goes down under challenge from Boateng, Ozil penalty saved by Neuer. Poor penalty. Sanogo started the game well for Arsenal.

Ozil's Pen was P1$$ poor they may rue not going in front after having such a dominant start!

Szczesny sent off for Arsenal, catches Robben as he controls the ball, another penalty in the game.

Poor penalty again, Alaba hits the post and ball goes safe. Fabianski even dives the opposite way.

What a goal, Kroos unmarked on the edge of the Arsenal area, curls it past Fabianski, 0-1 Bayern Munich.

Uefa will probably fine him and add another game onto his ban. Arsenal lucky ref hasn't pointed the spot again, Mueller tripped by Koscielny.

0-2 Muller diving header, Flamini didn't track his run.

A mountain to climb for Arsenal in the second leg, i can't see a way back after the second away goal.

Ozil must be the worst buy for ages, he has no bite, lacks effort and easily snuffed out, how Wenger kept him on I just don't understand.

Bizarre, most of time lately looks like he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo, yet he can sometimes pull a goal out of nothing , he's had a strange career.:?

He's not set the world alight at Chelsea, but can often come up with the goods in games that matter.

If you remember after he score the winner at Euro'08, he returned and spent time injured at Liverpool. I think he's showed flashes of his form, but never lived up to his billing.

All square, 1-1, poor defending from Terry and Cech in no mans land. Chedjou left on his own to score inside the six yard area.

Mourinho has been happy just settling with a draw for last 15 minutes or so, bringing on Mikel and basically parking the bus. I expect Chelsea to win the second leg, but you never know.
