When I first saw a young Craig Reid playing for Queeens he looked raw and frightened by it all, a bit like Bambi on roller skates. However he developed into a solid first division player who in my opinion suffered because he was such a versatile member of the team. Just when he had settled down into a regular performer he upped and left for greener fields, an unusual one me thinks. Wonder when he was a loose end if the possibility of returning to Dumfries ever came into his plans? Good luck to the man a lot worse than him have earned a crust in the premier division.
