Used to be an Everton corner was sommat to get excited over.

And the chant of "E-VERRRR-TON resounded from the Gwladys or from the away end if we were on the road.

Now?

Corners are just a waste of time.

Except the odd time they are taken short.

I don't know how many corners we had today but we never carried a threat on any of then...and the travelling Blues didn't even get excited when we forced one.
