Everton beat Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs to Irish wonderkid Stephen Kinsella.

Everton have beaten a host of Premier League rivals to the signing of highly-rated Irish ****ager Stephen Kinsella.

The 15-year-old Templeogue United winger was being tracked by Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham, but it is the Toffees who have won the race for his signature.

Manager Roberto Martinez is so keen on the youngster that he made a personal trip to Dublin last October to hold talks with the player and his family.

That appears to have paid dividends after Everton confirmed that the deal has now been done and that Kinsella will join their academy side this summer.

Everton academy manager Alan Irvine told the club's official website: "I am delighted Stephen will be joining us. He is a very talented player who was wanted by many other Clubs and who has decided to come to Everton.

"He's a winger who has the ability to go past players and we are very much looking forward to work
