The big danger is that it may be a conveyor belt out of the club.
It's a choice between success over bank balance. It would be nice to keep the players and win something but also nice to have a constant stream of money into the club from transfer fees. The latter option is fine if you don't have Pompey style owners who funnel the money straight out again.
The first option would be lots more fun though.
Maybe a good manager could combine the two?
