Got say hats off to him. Shows a bit of passion and always good to see a someone stand up to clear bullying tactics from players etc.

Don't know what it is but I like Pardew, very much a Jeckyll and Hyde character, a nutter on the touchline but always a gent after the game.
Hopefully all this nonsense and hot air will blow over and he can carry on keeping Newcastle riding high in the league ;)

Think that was just to try and be seen to act quick. Now accepted the charge.

I suspect Pardew will get his own back by throwing one up Meyler's missus.

Thought he'd get more, to be honest..

Pardew didn't head butt anyone and a 7 game ban and AA?160k in fines is, imo, ridiculous.
1 game ban and warning as to future conduct would be sufficient.
What would happen to you at your place of work if you nodded at a colleague during an argument?
Suspended from work for a couple of weeks and fined a month's wages? :D

Agree with you BA, that was by no stretch of the imagination a headbutt.
He was dealt with by his club and a token 5 match touchline ban would have surficed imo.

If a player did it on the pitch he'd get a 3 game ban - why is it different for managers?

If they want to set examples maybe banning divers rather than people with a bit of passion would be more appropriate.

Not a headbutt - more a nod of respect...

And in other news, Pardew admits to calling Pelligrini a 'fussing old clot'..

Have to say that is by far the clearest video I've seen of the incident by miles! It does look like a bit of a butt to me...but does anyone else just have that scintilla of a bit of a thought that says...'Yeah!'

Will be in the stand at SMS. With communication available I don't know if that makes much difference?
