Sad sad news WHAT a player Murph was probably one of the best loans we ever had apart from Griffiths.
SUCH a good defender never let a lot past him and scored a few raking goals, his career cut short at 30 at least he won a cup with us and hope he treasured it as we will always remember hi.
If yer lookin in Murph thanks for all the memories take care and all the best for the future. ;D

Murphy was never on loan Oldman.

Best full back in the SPL while he was here, no contest.

Made us A?1.5m and gave his signing on fee for move to Birmingham to Hibs youth system, close on 200k.

Played in a cup winning Hibs side aswell.,
