O/T The Dock Park

Went through today and its great to see this Dumfries landmark getting the 'kiss of life' . The sandstone entrance looks impressive and classy. For anyone with young kids, the playpark looks excellent . The cannons and maze are synonymous with the park and still there. Not completed but looking good and getting there.

It's looking good and on schedule to be finished by Easter I believe

Regarding the front entrance , I noticed there's old fashioned railings in between the new sand stone pillars . I take it they've been recycled from the old Dock Park somewhere ...?
