I don't know whether it is that time in the season when teams just dare not loose, or teams are afraid to go for the jugular. But whatever it is there seems to be a distinct lack of goals being scored in all the four top leagues.
One of my favourite bets is to bet there being over 2.5 goals in a game. eg 3-0 or 2-1 or any other combination where at least three goals are scored.
So many games have been won by a single goal or a 0-0 draw. We have been guilty of that on many occasions this season. We have dominated games and won 2-0.
I know we have scored six in our last two but we have been poor at giving someone a real thumping.
Not to worry it's Cheltenham next week, lets hope the Irish horses give me something to punt on.
