Scotland - a missed opportunity

I cannot understand why Mr fishy face didn't get his people to vote to join Russia yesterday. After all, Scotland has far more in common with Russia than they ever had with us. Both are dismal, depressed nations unrenowned for any footballing success, and both share an average life expectancy of only sixty odd. Yesterday we could have got rid of them instead of remaining lumbered with them until September, so everyone could have been a winner. :(

The USSR needs ice hockey players, not caber tossers, so it was never going to happen. Now "caber catching," I would pay a shilling or two to see that!
