Ahead of the AGM scheduled for 7th April at Gayfield, the clubs latest financial statement (to end May 2013) shows it still in the black (over 30,000) some way down from the previous year's 6 figure `profit'. - view external link (www.arbroath-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/still_solvent_828061/index.shtml)

So how do other Lichties see the finances and the outlook?

Annual turnover was 600,000 a bit down from the previous year while costs went up by around 50,000, almost totally accounted for by increased wages and salaries

Virtually all the smaller elements have not significantly changed, other than what's mentioned in the report (ie SFA/SFL income and sponsorship way down, TV fees up)

My reading is we've had two fortunate years (with Old Firm games)which has given a temporary boost. Otherwise the club runs a fairly tight and stable ship but we would be hardpressed without these windfalls.

The other observation is that the 25% increase in wages hasn't paid off.
