Featured in SPFA video to highlight Mental Health issues.

Speaks candidly about his own experience of Depression and the impact of it.

A brave move which should be applauded.

Huge respect for '' Beanie '' going public with the problems this terrible, debilitating illness has affected him over the years. Neil Lennon, Dumbarton manager Ian Murray and ex - Queens man Robbie Neilson also contributed to the film.

Read the feature in yesterday's press and now understand why his performances fluctuate so much, even in the space of 45 minutes.

An extremely brave thing for anyone to do, but I wonder if this may work against him on the pitch, - with opponents having a go at him, now that they know what his Achilles heel actually is?

Potentially, he can be our most creative performer, but might be best on the subs bench to get the best out of him.

The punters need to fully understand Ian's condition and not exacerbate potentially problematic situations on the park. Equally, Ian needs to completely eliminate the histrionics from his game and concentrate on what he does best, playing football, rather than diving at every opportunity and claiming for imaginary fouls.
