Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!
Well, now resigned to going down
So any positives out of being relegated? In fact I think there are quite a few:
- We are just not good enough for League One I'm afraid, we wouldn't cope next season especially without Chucks even if we do by some miracle manage to stay up. I don't fancy a whole seasons worth of abject home displays again
- Perhaps we can actually start to use some of our own players instead of being a platform for Premier League and Championship loanees, who apart from Chucks (whom I've really enjoyed seeing at Gresty Road) are no better than our own.
- We will get the Wolfman back from Accrington, and it does seem he can perform at League Two level
- We really don't need to get too upset when Steve Davis moves on, he's proved when the chips are down that he's an average sort of manager.
- As AL has pointed out on another thread... it will be easier getting out of the car park!
Can anybody think of any themselves?
