The new album by Skyless.

I think it could be the breakthrough.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it listed for the Mercury prize this year.

Muck, you're 35 (as am I, I think) - you can't afford to go to Liverpool and you can't get a ticket for the bus from muirhouse and you're 35. That's a 35 year old from muirhouse and the borders who can't afford to watch his team winning trophies. Did I mention that you're 35?

35 year old hawick plastic scouse 35 year old penniless pauper...that's 35! >:( >:( >:(

The Clean are an influential indie rock band that formed in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1978, and have been described as the most influential band to come from the Flying Nun label, whose repertoire included many major proponents of the "Dunedin Sound".[1] Led through a number of early rotating line-ups by brothers Hamish and David Kilgour, the band settled down to their well-known and current line-up with bassist Robert Scott. Early incarnations of The Clean included Peter Gutteridge on bass (who co-wrote "Point That Thing") and Doug Hood on vocals (who later worked with Toy Love and founded the "Looney Tours" touring company). The Clean forged a distinctive and quirky sound that relied heavily on organ melodies and simple, Ramones-style chord progressions.

XDSo Mook was claiming benefits in 2005 even though you released a highly lucrative album :(

BertrandRussell

Gene Clark's solo stuff is along the same lines as Neil Young, Stephen Stills & David Crosby's solo stuff. Introspective and mainly acoustic, with some stellar supporting musicians.
