Excellent summation of the state of the game at the highest European levels and here at home in our tawdry SPF(hel)l.
Have never been so ambivalent to the Champions League latter stages as I am this year.
UEFA should perhaps consider that by focusing all their commercial cash generating efforts on the big four countries they run the danger of alienating the remainder of Europe's tv audiences whose combined viewing numbers will be considerable when stacked up against those of Germany, Spain, France and Engerlund.
