Geniunely don't know the answer to this one and its more of an opportunity to brainstorm and for folk like Palmyman to wrack their brains . How many Queens players have had testimonial games and can you remember the opponents and scores etc ? Infact , any recollection of the games or day itself will do . The most high profile testimonial I can remember was Allan Balls in 1984 against a Man City X1. Have to say that I wasn't allowed to go to this game as we had family visiting from afar !

Can remember a testimonial for Iain McChesney many moons ago , just can't remember the opponents . Perhaps it was Carlisle United ??

Allan Ball had two testimonials (the other was v Carlisle) and Ches's was in 1971 versus the '' Honest Men ''. Charlie Johnston had one in 1953 against his old team Rangers ~ 3 - 1 to Queens in front of over 8,000 fans !

The Celtic one is one of my first recollections of being at Palmerston.

Attended both ' Bally's '.

The first one I think was 3-2 to us. Cammy Evans may have scored 2. I think Ernie Hannigan played that night.

The second one, Ted McMinn scored an absolute peach from the right side of the box - just outside - which sailed over the 'keeper into the opposite corner.
