Great 3 points tonight, especially with the injuries we have at the moment. Vigurs is turning out to be a top signing for us.

The BBC doesn't want us to get too carried away - they remind us its probably only until tomorrow night.

HUGE, HUGE WIN!!

60pts and 2nd place, with only 1 more win required to equal last years record points haul (before the split) is commendable. But, that still gets you nothing in return as of yet.

A win on Saturday is still a must against a relegation candidate team and would make 4th place highly likely as the lowest finishing spot. StJ can only get a maximum of 63pts with 6 wins in a row, and ICT 67pts with a flawless run. Both will loose games, and have to play M/well again.

Utd can reach a maximum of 72pts on a flawless run, which is a difference of 12pts from where motherwell stand at present. Therefore, 4 wins and a draw puts 3rd as a guaranteed finishing spot if that happens. In reality 3 wins and a draw would probably get 3rd spot.

As for Aberdeen, can only hope they drop more points! :/

Only down side is that Craig Reid picked up an injury...broken toe? Hopefully its nothing to worry about.

To be fair to them they are only acknowledging the fact that Aberdeen manage to get points even when they play p1sh.

Going by photos, Craig Reid took a nasty one on his toe. Quite a hole gouged out on the top of his boot. No wonder SM subbed him at half time. Hope its not too bad. Played reasonably well in midfield by all accounts.

I thought I read last week McCall saying we had already beat last years total of 54 points and that 1 more win like last night would make us equal the most wins in a season ever which was in the 1930s so if we win another game we will have recorded a record number of league wins ever. Have not checked any stats so may be wrong

12-13 = 18w, 63pts
11-12 = 18w, 62pts

Record season:
31-32 = 30w, 66pts

Good facts but both St JU and ICT cannot win maximum points as the the very least they play each other so one or either will
