A Norwich statement said: "The decision has been taken to give the club the maximum chance of survival."

What was wrong with doing it three months ago?

If it gives us a lift for a couple of games, that's all that's required.

Good Evening,

Birmingham City fan here: I was sad to see him leave us and sorry for all involved at Norwich that it didn't work out. All the very best for the rest of the season and I hope you make it.

He was a nice enough bloke and he's proven in the past that he can do a decent job, but the truth is that he didn't work out with us and that's been so obvious to anyone watching that I can't believe it's taken the board this long to get rid.

Personally I think there should have been serious questions asked after the 2nd game of the season when we played three quarters of the game against a 10 man Hull side and having spent all our money on attack minded players in the summer we managed the grand total of 1 single solitary shot on target!!!

I just hope Mr Adams can pull things together just long enough to keep us up, and looking on the bright side after recent performances the Arsenal game doesn't look so scary now...

its the same old story, you go up, cardiff go up, burnley will go up, but you will all end up coming down again.

the novelty factor wears off eventually, small clubs cant compete in the premier league now,

i bet delia is knocking back the cooking sherry like there is no tomorrow.

snodgrass needs to go back to leeds simply because, he cannot seem to be able to buy razor blades in norwich.

Shame for Hughton, he is a good manager and did well with a Newcastle side when he was left caretaking the side.

I accept that sometimes a good manager and a good side don't gel into one coherant unit but you have to question your back room decision makers.

The alarm bells for you lads have been ringing way before today and to get rid of him now shows poor decision making with no chance for the next manager to make his mark on the team.

Football has no dignity or values about it these days. Never mind at least you have an aging drunken cook to keep you amused.

good luck.

We are STILL called HULL CITY last time we looked.

Personally I don't think Norwich will go down purely because there are three teams worse than you. Cardiff, Sunderland and Fulham are shocking.

You ain't seen us then, We have a captain who makes Titus Bramble a contender for player of the year. No interest whatsoever.

PS JoePublic
Can't agree on one of your two points re our drunken, ageing chef Delia. Ageing NO still looks reasonable

You'll never be as bad as Fulham. we were nil nil at half time then they crumbled and we put six in the net. We even took Huddlestone off without replacing him just to give him a rest.

We've beaten Sunderland three times and Cardiff have been booed by their owner.

And you think you're bad?

Be careful what you wish for!!

We wanted AVB to get sacked and then what happened, TS and our season screwed!!

You might get him next season!!

Believe me he's got the passion but hasn't got a clue!!

Do you want Lambert back? I will drive him up for you.

I feel bad that Norwich might be relegated after having to appoint Hughton who was awful at bham city. Do you think Lambert would have made you guys progress or is he a one trick pony?

Laurie

Lambert knew when to get out, and your lot took the bait hook line and sinker, how we laughed when you sang PLs claret n blue army, and laughed even more reading the posts on here after just a few matches, when almost to a man you wanted him gone.
You surly will not have long to wait, as that randy old yank will find another few mil, and appoint Hughton, know how you love Birmingham's leftovers.
Nice to chat again.

I take it you don't miss his long ball big man up front, no width, only attacking on the counter, bad signings, same old after match interviews that are hard to understand and no Plan B approach then?

How about Holt then?

Damn

Laurie

Sam, Holty will always be a legend at Carra, but as a player now, no thanks, would love him to come back as opposition so we could thank him from the stands.
Any news on CH being lined up to replace Lambo yet, would tighten up that defence of yours, for a few weeks, but then there would be no one there to see it, yawn, yawn, yawn.

I think Lambert was good for us as we were for him i don't think we would get better than mid table with him but the footall was so much more exciting i think he is showing now he is not good enough for a club like Villa.
