who played for us away back in 1959 - 61 seemingly is the oldest ex - England internationalist still alive. The superb playmaker stays in Carlisle and is now 91.

Interesting stat Palmyman. I remember him on a regular slot on a Friday night on Border TV's sports report on Lookaround in the late seventies.
