View Full Version : Moyes Sacked
I feel ambition got in the way of common sense when he accepted the job. Was never going to emulate the Big Mouthed One.

I might me in the minority here, but I believe he has been harshly treated. This Manchester United team were struggling under Ferguson, and I believe he knew what was about to happen, which is why HE got out.
Also with the changes in their boardroom, anyone taking over was on a hiding to nothing.

Who cares? We have enough problems of our own at Fir Park.

Might sound stupid but he was too nice a guy for that job he has to deal with big egos in that dressing room and I just think he wasn't strong enough for the confrontations that came upon him.

As Martin O'Neill said, succeeding Fergie's successor is a better gig.

When Busby retired, the manager's door was replaced by a revolving one. Fergie was given time to replace it.
Is history repeating itself, or is it all about money? I note the value of Man Utd rose when news of Moyes' sacking was released.

I agree with the minority; Moyes has been hard done by and hung out to dry, whilst the ones who should've been backing him (Board and players), get off scot-free.
I mean FFS, the bloke was left with an ageing team and has had zilch chance to do anything about that.
