The stand-in skipper insists Blues will not be relegated
CHRIS Burke has issued a Birmingham City rallying cry, urging all and sundry to keep the faith.
Burke, who has been made captain in Paul Robinson's absence due to suspension, has insisted that Blues will not be relegated.
They are out of the Championship bottom three only on goal difference after the Easter Monday beating by Blackburn Rovers at St Andrews.
The good things is that it is still in our hands, said the Scotland winger.
I know Blackpool got a point on Monday and it is down to goal difference, where we are.
But we have got two home games - one a game in hand on the others - and that is the positive I look at.
We have to win a game at home, sooner rather than later, and why not now?
I know the run we have been on at St Andrews but we have it in us to win, of course we do.
We could easily be celebrating - if that's the right word - in a couple of weeks rather than everybody being deflated.
