It ended up a Happy Easter Monday for Charlton as they came back from going two goals behind to win at Hillborough Stadium.
Marvin Sordell proved to be the Addicks hero as the Olympian scored his first hat trick but it started off badly for Charlton after the Owls scored in the first 10 minutes.
Atdhe Nuhiu put Wednesday ahead on 2 minutes and Chris Maguire scored a second from Nuhiu's pass on 8 minutes.
Sordell did well to pull one back on 10 minutes from a Callum Harriott cross then eluding the Wednesday defenders including Llera.
Two minutes before half time from another Harriott pass Sordell scored the 2nd to beat Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland enabling both sides to go into the break all square.
On 63 minutes, Sordell seized on a misplaced back pass to escape two defenders and rifle home with an assured finish putting Charlton up to 18th and 2 points ahead of the relegation pack.
