Robert Elstone to provide stadium update at AGM.
Everton will provide shareholders an update on a proposed new stadium development at next Tuesday's Annual General Meeting, the Everton Shareholders Association have announced.
With the club continuing to rule out redevelopment of Goodison Park as a viable option, CEO Robert Elstone has been working on new plans to relocate Everton to a new site within the boundaries of Liverpool and will provide details at the meeting at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
Chairman Bill Kenwright is believed to favour a site on nearby Walton Hall Park and there has been a flurry of rumours over the past week that that is the location of a proposal for a new 54,000-seat Everton stadium.
An excerpt from the ESA announcement reads:
