It's now getting squeaky bum time at the Valley to use that well worn cliche, the team has a slim chance of staying up but only definitely if they can get one more win.

Still no back to back wins this season and I wonder how many teams can survive in these circumstances.

On Saturday 26th April Blackburn themselves came to the Valley on a good run of form, having been unbeaten in five away from home and unbeaten in 11 Championship games.

Blackburn took the lead on 26 minutes when Josh King crossed to Rudy Gestede who then scored. In the first half Sordell was awarded a penalty but ex England Keeper Paul Robinson made a fine save.

Blackburn led 0-1 at half time. Michael Keane made it 0 - 2 for Rovers on 51 minutes but Sordell made amends for the penalty miss by scoring three minutes later on 54 minutes.

Tom Cairney added the third Rovers goal on 64 minutes and now Charlton have to beat Watford to secure their Championship status tonight, Tuesday, at the Valley otherwise it's right
