Charlton secure their place in the Championship after a very nervy end of season term, for yet another season after this excellent win against Watford.

A win was all that was needed to ensure survival and Callum Harriott rose to the occasion and scored a brace opening the scoring in the 22nd minute with a well timed and thoughtful strike. Incredible to believe this was his first league goal of the season.

Watford did level in the 60th minute courtesy of a Troy Deeney 25 yard volley.

A cross from Morgan Fox enabled Skipper Johnnie Jackson to bundle the ball home on the 2nd attempt on 69 minutes putting the Addicks back in front marking his 5th league goal of the season.

However Harriott wasn't finished yet and blazed in a superb strike on the 77th minute to send the Addicks rocking from a Lawrie Wilson cross and well on the way to survival.

Further drama followed when Riera was red carded for Watford after a high foot tackle on Diego Poyet and that was that with Watford down to 1
