I've just seen that we finished the season tenth in terms of average attendance (16,140).

Not bad considering it's been about as underwhelming as is imaginable. We were unlucky to have been away on both the opening day and boxing day. There were also a couple of derby matches moved to Tuesday nights, which was a shame.

I wonder how many it'll be next season. We're bound to lose a few, now that everyone's seen how crap this league can be, especially when Dougie Freedman's your manager.

I think the ground will be half empty next season dan.

Aye and Burnley took the most fans there with 4,857.

This is Bolton at Wigan, think we must have had more as the stand holds 5400

I would suggest that it's a myth that the away end at Wigan holds 5,400.

Burnley at Wigan...

16K isn't too bad considering how rubbish we've been for the last couple of seasons. I think we'll be down to around 15K next season, at best.

I see the Liam Trotter permanent deal is pretty much done.

Now that's how you sell season tickets.

Stan, it is probably Wigan manipualting the crowd figures to make it look like there were more home fans there as they were embarrassed with their meagre support. That stand does hold 5400 unless it has shrunk.

Looking at who's likely to go up and down I'd guess that we'll average about 15,000

You may be right Lord Hooray. Last night they had 14 and half thousand on which is a thousand less than their average for the season. QPR took 3,500, so is does make you wonder.
