Finally, desire, hunger, effort all came together to give us a fighting chance. Ref was determined to give everything against us but we still got the result!
Ashcroft restored to the back line had possibly his best match in a Killie jersey beside maksimenko, pascali in front of the back 4. Also a welcome return to the fold for Fowler who shouted cajoled and even prompted, with runs behind the striker, booked for a nothing incident then needlessly sent off, bad decision from ref for me though i was at the opposite end of the ground.
Eremenko had his best game and looked as fit as he has, also seems to be finding form just when we need him. Rory McKenzie should have had at least a goal twice accepting short pass backs but the st mirren goalie did perform heroics to be fair. Jackson Irvine had another fighting display, and another mention for Ross Barbour making it a complete nonsense as to why he hasn't featured all season.
