I was listening to radio 5 live last night, they were reporting on this terrible, frightening issue in Nigeria where these girls have been kidnapped.
poor mites, we just can't grasp the fear that there must be in parts of this world, we go about our business, pop down to the shops when we want to, toddle off to the pub for a drink and a myriad of other social activities when we want, we don't really consider a fear factor, we perhaps now and again moan about anti social behaviour...
that's how it should be isn't it, just what is wrong with those people in this world that won't allow 'our peace' to be the norm everywhere, what the phuck has gone wrong.
I was in the Merchant Navy for 6/7 years, I went to many countries and never experienced the fears that there are now, the worst I ever felt was an uneasyness when I was in Russia or Poland, that was back in the late 60's.
