Think you misinterpreted, Evans said he didn't want to leave Crawley and they told him to go when he wanted to see it through and wait til summer.

Seeing Evans on the TV though, he was sweating like a nun in a brothel just sitting watching the match. I think St John's should be following him round with a defibrillator!
