Its hardly suprising if the rumour about the winning bid proposer getting a 7% bonus is true , it could well go on for ages . check out OP link below as per usual nothing is straight forward with these 'businessmen' or our club - view external link (http://www.oftenpartisan.co.uk/archives/12034/consensus.html)

Wouldn't it be normal for the rival bids, IF they exist, to be put to the board for approval with the winning bid getting the majority vote? One thing is for sure - none of the bidders are doing a Carson and offering to pay way over the odds for the club or the deal would have been settled weeks ago.
We are Blues remember and are more likely to end up in the hands of another bunch of rogues rather than a billionaire benefactor.

who would want to put down 25% at a time on a club over 2 years ? you would not own a majority until 18 months had passed ,absolutely unbelievable, and even if there was some sort of guarantee ,I would be in no hurry to get involved with this lot at 25% they could stop the bus !!

it would be a huge leap of faith for someone on one hand but on the other it has advantages, pay as you play ! if the fee for the club is fixed and that is set in stone with huge financial penalties for welching on the deal then you cant really lose , if the new owners don't have to lay out all of the pot in one go it leaves a little spare for extra investment which in turn could make promotion in the short term a more likely scenario , the benefits of that are there for all to see
