So I thought I would resurrect two great articles from Scotlands top journalists from the David Murray era.
"The Ibrox men are, I reckon, one more signing away from finally leaving
their greatest rivals - and, therefore, the rest of us - so far behind them
they will be no more than a dancing dot on the horizon."
Bill Leckie 1997
"However, the mega-deals Murray has been working on are sure to carry Rangers out of the reach of their rivals here at home and unless Celtic can somehow find the means to strengthen their own financial standing even the age-old rivalry between the Glasgow giants will be threatened as the Ibrox men grow ever stronger."
Ken Gallacher 1994
How did that work out ???? XD
