A few different things at different ages, but included a phase of wanting to be a nun after being told by a misinformed friend that it was the only way to get out of having get married to a yukky boy, the thought of which appalled me, without going to prison.

A combination of being invited on a friend's birthday trip to the circus when I was about 4 or 5, where I was picked out of the audience to hold a lion cub (love at first cuddle :heart:) combined with a horror of seeing caged/performing animals (hated zoos too), and then seeing the film Born Free on the tv one day, made me want to be like Joy Adamson and rescue and set free lions and other caged animals back into the wild.

I also wanted to set up a home to bring starving children in the world to live after being upset after seeing something on the news.

Also an air hostess. :D
