This ones gonna be geet festival this weekend in Colne

Friday/Saturday

Tickets around 20 quid per day

Friday for me is the best day of the two with The Universal kicking things off at 7 bells (if you like The Jam you will like these chaps, hell even the singer Terry Shaughnessy has more than a touch of the Wellers in his vocal delivery.)

The 45s,a young up and coming group, vastly overlooked/underrated in the wake of The Strypes, they both came out around the same time but the former are better imo!

And From The Jam with Bruce Foxton.Roman ends the proceedings on both night with a cluster of Northern Soul tracks

Saturday Kicks off with Bad Manners (complete with Buster Bloodvessel) and continues with performances from the premier tribute act to the Small Faces,The Small Fakers (see what they did there),The Kinks and other items of interest as well.

Also appearing on Saturday is Steve Ellis (formerly of Love Affair) who remains a class act.

Anyone seeing the Small Fakers for the

The remaining living Allmans takes it i think. Potential pensioner deaths and the theme music to Top Gear. We should all be heading for Hunter Mountain
