Is there a difference between a mod and a super mod?...

If i was a mod on EM would i have any powers on other boards,can a mod from one board see who the mod of another board is for example?...

I think mods can only police the one board and can edit/delete posts and hand out cards on that board. Supermods I believe have access to posters details and can global posters not sure 100% sure if they can moderate other boards, I'm sure some can.
I sometimes see Dundee's supermod, will try and ask him when the season kicks off.

The only reason im asking is because when i was trying to find out who the mod was on CM late one night i got into a conversation with somebody from another board,they said that they could find out who it was if i wanted and then told me who the mods was,now as he has never been on CM and he came back withs i presume he has certain powers,i did wonder if he nipped onto CM and chose some randoms but i doubt it plus the thread that we was posting on then disappeared and i was wondering how he knew?...
