Just heard this for the first time in over 40yrs.
Doris Troy, "just one look". The Hollies did a hal decent cover of course, but the original is in a class of it's own. - view external link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDgT0cSm5tM)

This was a huge hit in 1970, yet it's ages since I've heard it on the radio. Arrival - 'Friends' - view external link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwW9skxB7_c)

Always linked these two songs together for some reason but how I forgot this one I don't know, it was always playing somewhere when I was a kid. There are classics and classics but this songjust "is". - view external link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbxxkwBQk_o)

Walked into my local Morrisons the other day and what was playing?
"God's Away On Business" Tom Waites, not that old but in Morrisons? Somebody was having a laugh who was in charge of the tapes as a load of "Good Stuff" followed it, REM, The Manics, Big Country et al.
Though the day before somebody had put on a Christmas tape! In June?
