Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of 26 year old creative midfielder Paul Cairney on a two year deal.
Paul started his senior career as a 17 year old at Queens Park and helped the side to promotion from the Second Division the 2006-07 season.
After spending a further two years at Queens Park Paul moved across Glasgow to sign for Partick Thistle where he established a reputation as a goal scoring midfielder.
In his final year at Firhill Paul made 37 appearances scoring 12 goals and was nominated for the Scottish First Division Player of the Year Award.
In the summer of 2012 Paul made the step up to Scotland’s top flight with Hibernian making 53 appearances over a 2 year spell at Easter Road.
