Always surprises me that Arsenal can make big signings like this when they haven't been at the forefront of Europe for so long.

He was great in the knockout stages and will give Arsenal a bit more steel in the middle.

Arsenal are prob the best run English club unlike Man u Chelsea and Man City they don't lose millions or have massive debts there only debt was there stadium which i think is nearly paid off and why they can splash the cash now

Madrid seem willing to sell him but Arsenal have baulked at Khedira's salary demands, with the Germany midfielder pushing for a basic 200,000-a-week deal plus top-up bonuses.

Chris Sutton was the top earner in England in 1994 on AŁ10k a week. Now the top earners are on AŁ200k.
So they've kinda went from earning a "minimum wage" annual salary every week to earning the annual salary of a high court judge or US president every week!!!:O
