So he's gone to Barnsley. Not the least bit surprised to see him go. All the signs were there. To be honest I can't ever remember being so unconcerned as we sell our leading goalscorer (and it's happened many times in recent years). To be a success at Barnsley he's going to have to learn to keep possession of the ball a hell of a lot better than he did with us. Still good luck to him.
Now to address the real problem we have. Get that central defender in fast. And please please let it be one with a modicum of footballing ability.
