A friend of mine went to the league cup match between Brighton and Cheltenham in mid week. He thought that Brighton were a poor side with one good midfielder and a small tricky left winger. Hopefully Clark has done his homework and will not play Eardley, who was, according to reports, was dreadful at Boro last week.

Kidderminster, Exeter, Torquay, and Brentford

Just to remind everyone to keep their feet firmly on the ground.

I was in the UK last weekend and was at the Brighton - Sheffield Wednesday game. Lua Lua (the younger) is a talented player but was easily contained by a well organized Owls defense. Ince is lanky presence in midfield and covered a lot of ground. But it was dull game except for an exceptional Sheffield goal. I would hope that we have enough offensive power to win the game tomorrow. Hypia was very passive on the side line but his coach (I assume)was up in the technical area most of the game. No evidence of any real team spirit. Looks like a good opportunity to put the St Andrews bogey behind us..
