Fear not Scotland! Look at Norway, Switzerland, or any other western European country pre-Euro for that matter. Never had any serious valuation or runaway inflation/deflation issues either!

I remember going to Yugoslavia in 1990 during Italia 90. It was weird having the same looking notes but some had 6 0's and some had 3 0's but they were both worth the same.

When we let we were tying to get rid of some notes but they were basically worthless. Even a tramp wouldn't take them.
