Right I've probably opened up a whole new can of worms in doing this but here goes
This site needs moderating so I am putting myself forward to do this as I can pretty much cover the site 24/7 I'm not everybody's cup of tea granted but I think I can do it if my other picks as Mods will do it too,ly Wolves 71, The Plater ,and Michigan Wolf.
If you guy's would rather ditch me and have them then that's fine I just feel this needs doing!

I'm probably not going to please anyone by posting this, but I've said it before and I'll say it again. None of our mods are frequent contributors to the forum. Going by the information on the profiles, Mr. D posts most often. Chimp has not posted in nearly a month. Prior to Ron's wind-up thread of yesterday, he had made one post since April.
Sorry fellows. This is not personal. I don't believe it's good for any forum to have absentee mods. A mod should be a regular participant in the life of the board. There are people around who fit that description, despite their reticence to put themselves forward. Wolves71 carried the board almost single-handed for a good part of the summer.
I'm under no illusion that anything will come of this.

Mods often sit in the background Robus, some posters may think they are not about just because they aren't visible when others are logged in. The three you mentioned Mod in the way they see fit. The threads over the summer were done in jest regarding moderating and moderators taking a sabbatical, the mods are here.

I see this as a pointless thread tbh.
There has been no moderation required this season so far and long may it continue.
As for the summer (whoever commented on us not being on the board) we were having a break. I don't think all the train and plane or even picture threads needed moderating did they? As for the transfer rumours threads, they are sketchy information threads at best, no need for opinions.

ok Im sticking my nose in again here.. how come Sweeney and Old gold arent mods anymore. In fact, where is Oldie ?
I reckon '71 & Wokey would do the job well nowadays, but then again what do I know ;)
