Settlement out of court on a 500K bonus claim that he'd a contract to cover. And while his costs wouldn't likely have been 120K at this stage they'd still be 5 figure sum.

Even if The Rangers got away with settling on say half the total then a third of a million quid is something they can ill afford at this stage of their financial melt down.

Wasn't it yesterday the 4M share issue had to be sorted by if it was going to happen at all?

Doing no bad in a lower division under a new manager - a bit like Hearts in that respect though it would be better if Morton were higher imho. Still a long way to go yet.

Meanwhile - The Rangers settling out of court - do you think I over/under-estimated their likely pay out, or is it about what you'd have estimated it too.

Thanks Ed - today's D-Day on the share issue. Ashley in the background as well as some criminal - no not the Easdale guy. Enough to fill the papers if there wasn't an Independence Debate going on
