Charlton remain undefeated after another home win against Watford with the winning goal scored from a Yoni Buyens penalty on 3 minutes which was enough to give the Addicks all 3 points.
The pacey Igor Vetokele was hauled down by Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes and Belgian Buyens stepped up to score by sending Gomez the wrong way.
Watford had most of the possession and put Charlton under a great deal of pressure but the Addicks defence coped admirably with Watford efforts from distance and again continue their impressive start to the season under Peeters.
