At least he admits that the football this season has been really dire. He is correct in thinking the injuries have played a major part in our performances but he doesn't mention the almost complete failure of the managers permanent signings, the unbalanced squad assembled and the drop deep and defend tactic used when in drawing or winning positions.
Injuries might be bad luck but not the rest. That's all down to bad management.
I do still admire his openness and appreciate he is looking to take the club forward in a manner I've not witnessed before. He obviously desperately wants Russ to succeed but reading between the lines he will not wait until it's too late before making a change if we don't turn things around in terms of both performance and results very soon. There is just too much at stake.
