Think it's time for an over the top knee jerk reaction.

Martinez has to go sooner rather than later. One win in seven League games conceding 16 goals, (21 goals conceded in ten games - all comps.), is not good enough.

His 'play it out from the back at all costs' football is just causing confusion, and making us vulnerable during games.

Time to swallow our pride and bring back David Moyes XD

You lot shouldn't get rid of Martinez on the basis of this $hit start you've had, handing him his p45 should be for paying a hilarious £28m for bungling Lukaku.

Because of that Chelsea effectively got Costa for £4m.

The difference in the 2 players is there for all to see.

Lukaku will come good in time he's 21 and one of the top all time goalscorers for his age. We also have Eto'o whose experience and achievements I rate far higher than Costa's ability.

RE: Topic: Evidently you don't do sarcasm. It's the unrealistic reds who knee-jerk react around these parts, not Everton.

We'll be fine - Don't worry your fat ugly chops about it.

Lukaku looked utter dog**** against the worst United defence in about 40 years. Says it all really.

Chelsea also dumped off Lukaku and Eto'o yet apparently they are better than Costa (9 goals already).

Please Note: Overuse of the word apparently won't disguise that you don't know what the **** you're typing about. Show me exactly where I typed they were better players than Costa please? Those two players are a better fit for us right now as squad players Even though I will admit Lukaku's form has been off and less effective than expected but he will come good...Oh, and If you haven't noticed either - Goals aren't a problem for us coming from players in every position we have. Defending against them is.

"Apparently"

Funny how all the top form obsessed stalk-heads like you surface with yours and numbers when teams are going through a rough patch - Yet when the same teams are on a good run they're hiding under their rocks, tugging themselves off to their Ronaldo posters.

Chelsea will be paying Diego Costa somewhere in the region of £150k per week; maybe more if Rooneys' rumoured £300k per week is anything to go by. It wouldn't surprise me if Lukaku is on around £70k to £85k.

I suspect that the wholes Costa deal will in the region of £80m. Worth every penny by the looks of it B)

Problem is teams are sussing us out now as we're playing purely to our strengths and having little or no regard for our weaknesses and we've got no backup plan. When/if we do when we try to change it we either enter this transition period where we look all over the place and become twice as vulnerable or it's too late in a game.

Yesterday we had 61% possession at the end of the first half but never looked like even being awake until after the penalty. We were unlucky not to get a couple over the match. When it comes to the final product - It's nice football, it's effective football but we need to be more ruthless when it comes to finishing.

Spot on.

In the good old days we'd just use the old excuse of having a 'Christmas Hangover', but it seems we are suffering a 'Last Season Hangover'.

I did say some time ago that any team that takes the game to us would not only stand a decent chance of winning but also giv
