The days in Oz that are locked in every year here in Oz.

Australia Day for obvious reasons.
Anzac Day
State of Origin
AFL Grand Final
Melbourne Cup

and the Boxing day test and Sydney-Hobart race.

Another reason to love this time of year.

- Grand National Day - but the date moves, but is always 2nd Sat in April.
- Boxing Day - racing at Kempton Park for me these days, but bumper Xmas crowds at footie matches used to be the norm
- New Years Eve - for the parties
- Any Bank Holiday Monday - don't you just love the rain, wind and single digit temperatures that come with it :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D
- Any Villa Win :D

I used to love FA Cup Final Day but that seems to have passed now what with the Cup being devalued by Manure a decade or so ago, and all the TV wranglings. Rarely watch it now.

The FA cup was it eh Yubbs :) A game of football broadcast on Aussie tv. Had a great night watching Chelsea and Villa in 2000 Almost a perfect night.
