High scoring games, will someone score a double century, Could Zimbabwe cause an upset???

But has anyone watch the very poor footage?

The commentary is poor.
The footage I saw first game was broken with soooooo many technical difficulties.
And the stats etc just does not do anything for me.

The last time I watched cricket I really tried to get into it but after days of watching it was a draw. Pointless! Maybe they should have some sort of penalty shoot out.

How would they have a penalty shoot out Bingo?

They have used a super over in recent years in the shorter version of the game to get a result.

But test cricket, never, that's why it's called test cricket.

Its called test cricket because it tests people's bordom levels. There again it sounds like Villa pre Sherwood.
I honestly dont get the fascination with cricket.

However I did meet Brian Lara once in the bel air night club who was with Dwite York.

Cyclone Marcia looking like cancelling Australia's game with Bangladesh.

I have had 120m in less than 24hrs and we are 600klm away from the cyclone, hopefully it stays away.

about 200ml over 3 days.

The Gabba is a great ground at draining, but I doubt it.

Game already reduced if we get a start.

Some high scoring games unless you're England :blue: :blue:

120m in 24 hours. That's one hell of a downpour and would flood most of southern England if the same was to happen over here. Surprised it hasn't made the news here :P :P

Looks like Wba53 has been stealing your m's to add into his "deamm" inducing posts ;) ;)

Seriously hope the floods don't get too bad in QLD.

You don't get cricket and you think it's boring. Brilliant. Well thanks for sharing that in the Cricket world Cup thread.

Oh dear, England. :D

Hey - we won a game.

OK - it was only Scotland, but they beat the Windies, so we must be good. ;D Oh hang on that was the Irish. Whatever. :s

The way this has been set up means England are still well in it. Theoretically if England get beaten by the bigger sides but gave all the minnows a hiding they can still reach the quarter finals.

No Yubster same group pool. SA don't look all that impressive and they'll struggle to beat India in the Quarters. India have hit a little patch of form after being thoroughly trounced on the Aussie tour.

Looking forward to the Kiwi game. Anything Aust v NZD is a big thing in New Zealand. Humid down here Trent Boult and Southee getting plenty of swing.

Aussies skittled for 151 in ideal conditions for swing bowling. 27c and humid. My phone went mad with gloating kiwis who then vanished with the Kiwis 9/145 in reply. They scraped over the line with squeeky bums. Nice to see a game dominated by good bowling from both sides.

It's nice to see that the WBA/Villa vitriol has spilled over to the cricket thread. :-)
