The club have made key appointments in recent weeks comprising head coach/assistant manager, head of fitness and head of recruitment. Who knows, there may be more to follow.

For me, had these initiatives come a year ago, I'd be really excited about the future of motherwell football club.

However, given the current league position, I'm really concerned that even with the greatest rallying cry, it may be too much too late.

I would far rather activity than inactivity but I suppose the question for me is, is the business plan sustainable and upon which perimeters is it based?

Is it sustainable if we get relegated?

Let's not forget that we have embarked upon a fan ownership model and that we have to repay the 'philanthropic' investment from Les Hutchison in 5 years.

I don't mean this thread to be negative, just to canvas views cos as an expat, I don't get the chance to have this debate in the pub.

Of course it would have been better if the new investment had arrived a year (or more) ago but it didn't.

The new business plan is based on us being in the top league and all the recent spending on players is an attempt to make that happen.

If we go down (I shuddered after I typed that phrase...) we're in a whole new ball game. Either way, as ever, it will be down to the fans to support the club both on and off the park.

The club is doing everything to stay up with 8 new signings this year and its time the fans done there bit we have had 3500 and 4000 last 2 home games we need to get that up to the 5 mark its time the stay away fans realised there needed now only 5 home games left and we need to win the majority of them and the more fans we have backing the team the easier it will become so if you know anybody who has club in there heart ask them to turn up next friday.
