It wasn't a Good Friday for Charlton as they lost 2-1 at the hands of their nearest neighbours and closest geographic rivals, Millwall.

It started badly when Chris Solley was sent off for a handball reducing Charlton to 10 men.

Stephen Henderson saved Lee Gregory's resultant penalty and the first half ended all square at 0-0.

Charlton took the lead on 67 minutes when Diarra turned in a cross from Morgan Fox in the 2nd half.

However second-half substitute, Magaye Gueye, levelled for Millwall with a low drive on 79 minutes. Then Millwall Centre-back Hooiveld scored on 87 minutes to ensure the one sided London derby, in terms of results, continued and giving Millwall their first win since October last year under caretaker gaffer Neil Harris but Charlton remain in 11th position in the league.
